Celebrating 60 years of recognizing persons with mental retardation for their potential, not their limitations.

Mission Road Developmental Center is a non-profit organizaton in San Antonio, Texas serving children and adults with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities through residential care in cottages on the Mission Road campus, in cottages across San Antonio and in the client's personal home.

MRDC is part of the family of Mission Road Ministries. Founded in 1947, Mission Road is one of two non-profit organizations in Texas caring for children with mental retardation who have been removed from their family by Child Protective Services because of neglect and abuse.

It was a zoo on campus this Friday!  MorningStar Ranch Ministries brought horses, pigs, rabbits, ponies and puppies for the Mission Road children and adults to learn about and enjoy.
